Since 2012, Fifata, a national farming confederation in Madagascar, has wished to have an internal training system within the framework of skills building of its peasant leaders. Engaged in representing and defending peasant interests, Fifata spoke of the importance of having leaders trained in a progressive path of responsibility, from the basic farming organization to the national level.
