From June 30th to July 10th, the 4 agricultural colleges network’s stakeholders in Madagascar have their annual reunion to Ambalavao.
This event allowed the teams to take stock of the 2013-2014 school year and prepare for the next. Youth representatives of four colleges have also gathered to meet and exchange.
After a review of the school year, the teams then made works between trainers in the same field to share their practices and prepare for the 2014-2015 school year. Counselors and youth were then invited to visit the exploitation of young outgoing installed nearby.
During a visit to the Anja Park – 12 km far from Ambalavao – the participants could entertained and visit its famous lemurs.
The second week was devoted to training time:
- Trainers in ‘animal production’ have undergone training on agro-ecology and integration workshops productions.
- Trainers in ‘setting up projects’ and ‘general education issues’ worked educational management and conduct of trainers.
- Extension staff have had training on the economic council, ‘Monopoly game farm’ and training youth leaders outgoing.
The stay ended with a visit to the training center ‘Beautiful Future’ in Fianarantsoa (Upper Matsiatra), which allowed the team to discover another training center for rural youth.
