From 1 to 3 October, EADR-SI network organized in Paris its second national meeting of the year. Fifteen Regional Correspondents, representing 11 regions were present.
Intervention of ‘France Bénévolat‘ began the new session. This state-approved association promotes the role and place of volunteering in society. The projection of a film where young people showing their volunteer commitment has particularly marked the participants. In addition, the Cneap and France Bénévolat will sign a partnership agreement, which will allow Cneap institutions to haveeducational tools to educate young people about the importance of volunteering.
The day ended with a round table for future action in the region, including those held during the Week of international solidarity; This national event will be held from 15th to 23th of November.
On the menu for the second day, a presentation of ongoing actions:
- scholarship of EADR-SI projects
- the competition “And for you family farming what does that mean?”
- the finalization of the educator’s guide,
- the network’s website,
- and training courses.
Sauquet Michel, president of Educasol (French platform development education), intervened in the afternoon on the subject of multiculturalism.
The last day allowed the Regional Correspondents discuss the future of the network, at a workshop hosted by the F3E.
