Description
The Arbomed network was born in 2010 from the meeting of producers around the Mediterranean, which, on the occasion of exchange actions and cooperation organized by the association and the Areflh Fert (Association of Fruit of Europe, vegetable and horticultural) wished to establish more ongoing relationships.
The primary objectives defined by its members (Albania, Algeria, Spain, France, Italy, Morocco and Tunisia) are:
– Collecting and disseminating of information on the evolution of the fruit and vegetable market on a Mediterranean scale;
– Share expertise and refine the achievements of research in the context of collaborative experimentation programs;
– Strengthening the professional organization movement in the South and facilitate alliances between OP South and North of the Mediterranean.
At the end of 2016, the funding for the networks’ facilitation by Fert and Areflh came to an end.
